How can you apply NLP skills to improving of NLP skills? I suppose you should at least apply "meta-NLP skills" to improving of NLP skills, as no class can be element of itself.

Nice point - I think that the way out of this box is to notice that a well-formulated pattern in NLP application (already coded) has two characteristics:
1. it is formal = that is, independent of content
2. if typically involves variables
Thus, while no class can be an element of itself (it can, but there are classic paradoxes that can be immediately constructed in such a system).
Both of these characterisitcs offer a possible exit from the "requirement" you propose to generate meta-NLP tools. Shall we consult Michael Hall - he certainly spends a considerable amount of time in these rarified realms.
