There’s a guy named Russell Brand that is a very brilliant mathematician. This is a guy who doesn’t type on the keyboards of computers he has 16 other people doing that while he barks out orders. Because mathematically... First time I met him, when I was talking he literally built a calculus of my language and computed it into mathematical deep structure. And while he was doing it I was
watching him and I turned over and told him what he was doing. And I looped it on itself in a way that only a mathematician would understand and he turned around and he looked at me and goes, “You just did proof theory.” He said, “I don’t think there are more than 8 people on the earth that understand it.” And I said, “Well there must be 9 then.”
He’s one of those brainiacs that in and of himself he’s not a neuro linguistic programmer, he’s a modeler. People doing NLP are confused about this and it’s a shame. Because they think because they can look at a human behavior -- and I’ve given them a way to represent it –they can ask questions and find out the sub modalities of something. But that in and of itself isn’t modeling. Modeling is the thing that built that.
