[1:09] When I wrote Patterns I... they went through and corrected the Milton's grammar...One column says "Transcript", the other has in the first sentence, it says, sentence fragment, incomplete sentence. And that's because
When you use incomplete sentences, it really focuses people's attention.
When you look at somebody as Milton did, "Now Nick I want you to watch how Mondy's face" [long pause & second example] ...your brain goes ...,and it goes into that mode that goes, it's just like that one on the computer that has the blank and until you feel in one, it won't go any further. It's the same thing, it goes input-statement, input-statement, the brain goes... and then you just wait, and then you give what I consider to be the finest ambiguity that Milton ever supplied us... You look at somebody and you go you're unconscious now/your unconscious now [pause] wants to know.
