Some palenesians can count things. For them there are 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. bananas, or 1, 2, 3, etc. fishes and so on, but they have no in their language such a words as one, two, three and so on, e.i. they count precisely these or those thing and counting for these things is not applicable to counting those ones. The numbers are stick to definit things and does not exist by themselves.Boris.
