Тут логика может быть такая же, как в другой технике — с первого раза рука адепта не зацепит воображаемо-реальные "энергетические линии", чтобы открыть реально-воображаемую дверь. С какого-то повторения — зацепит.
Ну так они и говорят "out, out" — "выходи, выходи".
Ну а почему нет. Кто из знает, в какие неведомые дали эти нагвалисты портал могли приоткрывать таким не хитрым манёвром.

Подавляющее число ассоциаций из Гугла — дверные ручки. Разве что есть немного другой формы — вот такие типа.
Ну типа "болезнь, прошу на выход" :)

knob. She must push on and on as she says out, out, out. Tell her that, since she has nothing else to
do, she must dedicate every second of her remaining life to perform-ing that movement. I assure
you that she can get up and walk away, if she wants to.”
„It sounds so simple,” I said.
Don Juan chuckled.
„It seems simple,” he said, „but it isn’t. In order to do this your friend needs an impeccable spirit.”
He looked at me for a long time. He seemed to be measur-ing the concern and sadness I felt for my
friend.
„Of course,” he added, „if your friend had an impeccable spirit she wouldn’t be there in the first
place.”
I told my friend what don Juan had said. But she was al-ready too weak even to attempt to move
her arm

Ну это уже звучит сильно за гранью интересов обывателя. Хотя, если по запросу + в ограниченных контекстах — то почему бы нет.
Тогда нас в данной теме будут интересовать техники "обратного инжиниринга" взрослых конструкций до более ранних корневых прото-ценностей и прото-понятий. То есть придётся для каждой задачи/темы п-рекапитуляции оконтуривать всё эволюционное дерево релевантных понятий, ценностей, ощущений-чувств-эмоций.
